I work on many pieces simultaneously - not just mail art: paper, mixed media, collage, panels- and I had run out of space to place incomplete work as it dries. So I built a storage rack with many shelves, shown here in the back corner. Now my…Continue

Here's my artspace today, about like it usually looks. Semi-controlled chaos.

@Vizma. That bag has Winston on one side and Salem on the other, which is the name of my town and two different brands of cigarettes. Yes, those clear boxes are for mail art...four years worth. I need to come up some better organization for it. That is an octopus, which happens to be my favorite animal. A friend gave it to me.

Love that Salem bag!! And the painting in the 4th photo down...is that mail art storage in those clear boxes? And in that same pic, is that an octopus/squid in front of the head??!!

Lord Jon, you're so neat and organized (VERY unlike me - lol!)

I really like that painting...%_^

Oh wow, yeah it kind of does. Is that kid named Glen? Either way he's super creepy, or at least in the earlier seasons. My girlfriend did the painting for giggles.

Art space update. It looks a little different from the last time I shared.

It's  a hard day's night, and I'm working like a dog
It's  a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log
But just mailart make me feel alright

I'm about to clean up.  I have half way cleaned up a few times in the last few weeks.  I prove the theory that a messy studio = productive.  Unfortunately it hasn't been mail art productive, or creative (except for the kids I've been working with). Once I am cleaned up I can send, send, send.  Don't forget to send me something for Maritime Mailart!

URGH.  Kat, your space is tidy and pleasant. No fair! I haven't even shown you my painting area, my computer area, all the stuff piled on my and around my press… Urgh.
