Here's my artspace today, about like it usually looks. Semi-controlled chaos.

My cat's space on my work table is larger than the available working space for me!

I love cyclamen but it's too hot here to survive the year, we have to buy them every year when they flower. Love the smell of them! Are they in your studio Martha?

Hi Martha!!! I remember. Happy to see you, and sorry to have few paperworks done at present....Don't let your nandina become waterlogged in winter, I read in some UK zones it has no berries  perhaps no very warm summer. (moreover some dwarf nandina steriles so no berries at all)

this is Julian dozing in my studio. He has cushions under every radiator but prefers this one, he is a lover of the Arts.

Love your cats Linda, and I am happy to have found you here, we used to correspond a long time ago, when only snail mail was available to us, remember?

I agree with what you say about gardens, gardens in the mind fill us with calm and joy just as much as those out there. Today i bought a few cyclamen to brightening up my winter pots. As to Nandinas you may be able to help me. I bought one several years ago because I was told it is evergreen, flowers and also has red berries in winter. What more you can expect? Well it is in a sunny position but it has a few flowers and never any berries, any ideas?

Now I have studio mail art from 2 studios! From Chris and Rebecca Guyver! These are in front of a Vanitas or possibly Cornell Box, Louise K might be able to tell me!

Chris Jones from Brissy sent me a great postcard of her artspace and house. It's made from a photo transferred onto fabric. Brilliant! She also sent a parcel of goodies so I could try it out for myself, thanks Chris!!!

in my opinion cats are good and unobtrusive friends for artists and are always in our field of view with our eyes shut, too

What a gorgeous photo! Did you see my cat hidden in my sunroom photo?
