When I think about this group, I have the distinct feeling of artists who work while others sleep, because of the time zone, the most active ones where it's summer now, more sleepy the other side of the earth ..... I peep from your window...(from inside to outside).....Nice to share this too... (In Italy now, 3 p.m..... very winter time....

Thanksssss Katerina for sharing your technic!!!!! One day I will test it!!!!!!The results are fantastic and the blue colour is great for this.

Yes, Claudia, I used real onions!

First, I used thin washes of light blue acrylic paint for the background.

Then blue acrylic paint was stamped with sponges...sponge printing.

Finally, I sliced onions, either cross-wise or vertically

...painted them blue and printed them ( many like "suns")

...some prints show the onion "juice" too! (I cried a lot :-)
