I work on many pieces simultaneously - not just mail art: paper, mixed media, collage, panels- and I had run out of space to place incomplete work as it dries. So I built a storage rack with many shelves, shown here in the back corner. Now my…Continue

Here's my artspace today, about like it usually looks. Semi-controlled chaos.

How big is your window, Cheryl, the size of the whole side of a building?

I really like Danielle's space too. Another one that makes me feel right at home!

That's a gorgeous view, Cheryl, no need to clean your studio if you have a view like that. Spectacular!

Cheryl, NO NO NO!!! You LOSE points if you clean up!!

 I must say I feel more excited looking at the cluttered spaces, so much to see, and it comforts me to know that there are spaces like mine and people who work like I do all over the world. Phew! I won't be needing therapy!!!!!!!!!!

Ok - I'm nervous about joining here and will have to do a tidy before I can show ANYTHING. My piles have great-grandchildren - at least now I will HAVE to!! - wonderful seeing all the clutter and STUFF - I feel right at home - who wants to tidy anyway?  There's too much art to be made!

This is the view from my one window though.

Nope, that extra points thing didn't work.  My wife put all my Mail Art stuff into two large suitcases and handed me a plane ticket to Australia ... hope Danielle doesn't mind sharing her art studio!

    Just joking, I can only get extra points by washing the windows, and cleaning the floor here in Paris.

What do you mean Dean? I just tidied it up! Haha :-)

Danielle, I think your work space is the best yet.  I must show this to my wife to get extra points.  "See Dear, things could be worse"  Messy = Creative,  in my books.  Bon courage!

Svenja, how appropriate that your space drifts off the edge of your art table and falls into shadow and then receding darkness ! With your work so full of mystery ...

Karen's photos certainly make me feel at home. The clutter: sometimes it drives you nuts, yet it's inspiring. Other people's clutter is especially inspiring. :--}
