I think I am not the first artist to notice the quality of the light here!

Today would have been totally wonderful if the flakey internet connection hadn't let me down on several occasions!

Windstill so I managed to make 20 minutes of fine sound recordings as source material for my audio composition for Venice titled "Solutions".

I bought apples and pears at the fruit market and pasta at the pasta shop. Then explored the area around me. Venice I like.

Tomorrow the Morandis are coming, we are going to rope ourselves together and make an attempt to climb the Rialto bridge... hopefully avoiding falling tourists.

Did I mention I like it here? Oh yes, of course I did.

Listening to Sigur Ros and drinking green tea, Oh yes.

Is it best I blog here? YES
How can I upload several fotos, and at what resolution? Doesn't matter. The resolution is altered to fit the page. You could upload also the photos an an album in the photo-sections, but then they are maybe not eassily found.
If I send the link that is in my browser window here above will it work for non-members? Yes, everybody has access. The IUOMA network is open for all visitors, also non-members. They can't add comments though.

Today was spent orientating myself to my new surroundings and buying essentials like honey and lemons and visiting the office of the Foundation. The vegetable market is 100 metres from here and there are all the shops a man could need in the street that runs along the end of the alley where the apartment is located.
Some questions for Ruud:
Is it best I blog here?
How can I upload several fotos, and at what resolution?
If I send the link that is in my browser window here above will it work for non-members?
and something else
I normally use Outlook express for my email but I have found I can only download my mail and not reply to it. I see in the Help pages something about that it could be that I am using the computer from a remote ISP and that can be the problem. I ticked the boxes as suggested but still no outgoing mail so now I am using knp mail to pick up and answer the post but with that I don't have access to my address book... je ne suis pas a nerd... dit is een problem so to zeggen!
