Look up in the sky!
It's a bird? It's a plane? No..it was the space shuttle!
Coming in for a landing in about 4-5 hours today? Friday Nov.27.

The space shuttle was very bright for a few magical moments in the Greek night sky last night, Thanksgiving Day evening. 'Twas on my
evening stroll about 9 p.m. yesterday. The night sky was very clear and even with the city light-pollution, I saw two very bright "stars" near the half-moon. Eh, I thought I was seeing Jupiter and maybe Mars. Then, as I came around block again, the very bright one..was gone! Where did it go? Were there clouds..no! So it remained a mystery... until the news on Yahoo that the space shuttle is returning to earth from the space station and would be visible in the night sky. And so it was! But it was bright only momentarily as it would catch the reflection from the sun and then move on...dark and no longer visible to my eye.But they are up there, coming home soon.
May they have a safe-landing! Ola na paei kala!

Sorry, for Greek cultural reasons, I am unable to link the first name :-)
Good news is the scanner is now working! Ah, fun!
