Maybe this WEB 2.0 IUOMA-platform enlarges the number of mail-artists that will use the regular mail? Just another communication-form that is integrated within the concept of mail-art: The art of communication.....

Yes, that envelope tells so much more than a digital image. even when it is 3D. Some sences come extra: feeling, smell, structures, etc....

A curiosity: that I saw here in Brazil, one day.
Some children and young people do not know how to fill the envelope and post to mail!
One boy asked for me, as was to fill the envelope.
He told me he had never used an envelope.
What used to communicate phone or computer!
He told me that letters and envelopes were for old things!
I felt as if I 1000 years old! : ))

Understand.
I was very afraid at the beginning of entering the network.
I did not know for sure how to do.
I love the work here together, people's conversations.
It's very important for me throughout this exchange.
But really happy to receive an envelope, can touch and open.
The surprise of the content.
This really fascinates me!

despite my experience in mailart be very small, I like more work to the traditional way.
The Internet is a great way to see if the work has reached its destination, know about the meetings, anyway, still prefer the traditional way.
I love handling the paper and pen.
(forgive my bad english)

All mail-artists that have exchanges through the postal system mosltly think this way. There are also newcomers to mail-art that discover the mail-art from Internet-platforms. The postage stamp is new for them.
