What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

I can hardly believe it's the same room!

Yes, I have never been accused of sleeping on the job before, but now they have the perfect ammunition!

Mary Alice, we pay the workers when all is finished and working in good order. They want their money fast...they work fast! (But you must be watching 'em for every detail so they get it right!)

And I decided on white, Sue, because it is such a small space...a real "wc" (water closet!). But at least everything fit, even the door no longer bangs against the sink! Yay!

The bathroom looks beautiful!  That was fast - can't believe it's the same room as you showed in the picture earlier...

Wow!  I always had the impression of Greece being a country where life slowed down.  It is an incredible  finish.  Looks wonderful.  We are preparing for a batroom re-do for both baths and I would love to do one in white.  So fresh with that blue...........                 ...

Funny Andy! Tell the boss it is for "better working conditions" ;-)

And, last night, the last of the last details were done to my bathroom.

The workers have left the building, and I have a Greek blue and white! DONE!

Yikes, Andy!  Hope the boss doesn't think it's because you want to nap extensively...

Oh god. I've just had the double bed delivered to work by mistake...

Thank you Mabb!

Andy, I totally understand, just finishing at hellish period myself at work only to start my fall jobs list at home (thankfully not even close to Katerina's workload!).

And Mims, I have not forgot about your scan, will send a shot tomorrow.

Yes, Andy...it is coming along. The bathroom was to be FINISHED on Saturday, but here we are on Monday, and I am waiting for the workers to come and put in the fixures, toilet, sink...today? We shall see. 'Have a nice Greek-blue floor!

Dewi - I'm not ignoring you I'm just hellishly busy at the moment! Looking forward to seeing you and I think Mim can recommend a good hotel near the Tate gallery!
