What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Dewi, No snow???  All winter???  Love your card.  Thank you!  It's been warm here in the mid-atlantic states too.  A light dusting on snow.  One time.

Thank you, dearies...Just take Mim's advice: "keep  making"!

Now in between those 1001, i did do some biggies, like some 60x80 cm (which got chop-chop into postcard mail art) and two of these "Blue Trees" that are 70x90cm.

The "Blue Trees" did not get the chop-chop, they are on exhibit at the French Institute group art show..tonight! Opening at 8 pm, me out-the-door now! (Say I am in my "blue" period? hmmm)

Katerina and Mim always inspiring us! Rebecca maybe you will have 365 inspirational ideas for when you go back to working bigger again.

It does make me shy with my little 28 pieces of mail art so far :)
I have a lot of work still to do!

Today we went to a fabulous exhibition in Manningtree of work by one of my friends, Jane Lewis and another artist I really like, Charlotte Stewart. While there we all got fired up and my family who are slightly impatient with me because I haven't started working big again yet, even though I have all this space asked when i was going to exhibit again. My son (who tends to defend me) said, 'you don't have time because you have to do your crazy mailart everyday, I suppose, but in the autumn when that's over..." I won't tell them Katerina has clocked up 1,000 and Mim 800. You two are amazing!

Congratulations to Katerina!  Συγχαρητήρια για την ολοκλήρωσή σας. Μου μπορεί να φτάσει αυτόν τον αριθμό κάποια μέρα!  I'm still in the high 800s.
