Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

HI Andy, we are coming to London tomorrow!  How do I find your plot?

Comment by andytgeezer on July 11, 2012 at 2:51am
Incredible! Plot 45 is getting so much mail that they've decided to move it to the spare gallery upstairs! It easily outgrew 2 plots stacked on top of each other!

Retrospective moves into part 4, and as yet I've not even reached the part where I start sending in LOADS of post.

When I popped in on Friday they seemed to have plenty of plots, I think you should get one Sarah! Turns out they had a whole gallery space upstairs too, that they didn't really know what to do with, and at the rate we're going I reckon that whole place is ours! :-)

I plan to do "Featured Artists" slots in my plot anyway, so do feel free to drop by and be one of them Sarah

YAY! I have a little collection of randomness ready to go over to plot 45. I'll photograph them together before I unleash them on Royal Mail.

No reply yet from Real. I may go ahead and get a plot anyway, if you're happy to be my London contact ;)

STATUS UPDATE - The block of wood I sent arrived safely, which I think means that we have the Green Light to flood the plot with FREE post! Woohoo!

Thanks Andy. I've just emailed the 'Real' team to try and clarify some of the details. If the answers aren't what I want to hear, I might take you up on your offer to babysit my mail for me until I can get hold of it somehow, or ask you to forward it to me. I'll let you know if/when I hear back from them.

Sadly, most of the other plots seem to be owned by people with less enthusiasm at the moment. I reckon you would do a much better job of it and if you wanted your stuff back at the end I reckon they would send it back Sarah .Either that or I could deliver it to you in the post.
