Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

HI Mim - sad that Tiny Town is closing its doors - what about a book of all the cards - you could write a story about all the visitors to Tiny Town - the beginning of a new venture - action figures, cards, t-shirts - it's endless - could go one forever - just a thought!!!!!

I think I purchased 75 or 80 cards, I really must do a count of the ones I completed. They were on sale 10 for $1 a couple years ago. They are quite boring and people didn't seem interested in them. I wish I'd purchased the entire lot of them. I debated making endless copies of them on card stock, but after a bit, and a discussion with my very intelligent & creative daughter, I decided to let Tiny Town close it's gates to visitors. THAT said, I might send out the digital prints from the exhibit when it's over. Who knows.

How many did you have to start with?

I wish you all could be there. I'll post photos, hopefully, I'll remember to take some! Tiny Town is almost closed to visitors. I've only 2 blank town images left. Oh Noooo!

I'm having an exhibition of some of my Tiny Town mail art - actually, digital images of some of the ones that I saved at higher resolution. I had a rubber stamp made, like a passport stamp, to use the day of the opening - I'll stamp on whatever the visitors have in hand. And I'll make tiny food for the reception. It's a large gallery with many areas so there will be several shows going on . I have the smallest gallery, of course - Tiny Town lives!

By the way we're 2 posts away from 11,000 on the site.
