This discussion thread is a place for 26 Project members to post their chapters, either completed or in-progress. Cheryl and I found with other projects that it was helpful for people to see chapters in order to establish context and generate ideas. Discussions can be helpful too, so please feel free to post questions and comments. Whether you post your chapter or not is entirely up to you. We know some people like the elements of randomness and surprise too. This will keep 26 chapters together, if you would like to post. We are going to try putting chapters in this part of the discussion thread.

Very good idea, Sloan...and Cheryl. I am interested to see how the "Letter" will evolve into expressions and ideas. I think from the "Alexander", I have finally got the basic format ready! However, it is a challenge to think about duplicating a chapter 26 times...not impossible, just challenging!

excellent work, Cheryl!

a question: my draft seems to have overrun my allotted pages. are fold-outs, pop-ups, enclosures or otherwise 'nested' pages acceptable?

Cheryl, this is so "archaeological", dusty-Indiana-Jones style! Fascinating, beautiful work! Thank you, Sloan, for posting it all. How exciting to see what can be done and beyond! Additions like that nice little pocket-envelope, any fold outs, clip-os, etc. will have to be done 26 times, right? ;-0

zoi, i just noted cheryl's little envelope on the back of the booklet. lovely....and  that answers my prior question, i believe :)

Can someone measure a book page in inches for me.  I would be very grateful cause I really am kinda stuck until then.

Ideas but no real progress.  SOMEONE HELP!

Lisa, here we have the 'rabbit-ear' fold, the 'blintz'.....could introduce the Wonton and the Egg Roll......!

do (have) you teach (taught) children?

(apologies for straying the thread to a tangent....!)

completing first 2 for Cheryl and Sloan...will post more when all pages are assembled and complete.

"H" is for HOMER! and even though in Greek: Homer is  ΟΜΗΡΟΣ....and his name begins with an omikron not an "H, still in the Greek spelling, "H" (or "eeeee ta") is found in Homer's Greek name...see it? "H" is also for Hellas = Greece, and for Hellenic= Greek things ;-)

Katerina, these are beautiful! Can hardly wait to see your completed booklets!

Hello MomKat :-) Start a discussion with your letter and name - that way we can see your work in one spot - lucky De Villo and me :-) We wont be blogging this - too much repeat - people can just comment on your discussion.

Hello hello! I am hard at work on my little book (so much fun!) and will post photos later on this evening. I do have one question...

--should we put our contact info somewhere on our chapter, for example the last/back page? i'm wondering if there will be a "table of contents"/list of all participants, or if that's something we should be thinking about when we put our booklet together.

--JH

Hey Jennie - there wlll be a table of contents/participants list that De Villo and I will post once the book is done - people can copy and paste as they please.  Good idea to sign your work I think. Start a new discussion with your work - that way we can keep accessing YOU and you wont get lost in the threads :-) - looking forward to seeing!
Oh, yes! That is a good omen, if JF Chapelle in FRANCE has received your "B"...then Europe (and that includes Greece ;-) should be getting it soon? Hmmmm, I may just post all of the "H"  tomorrow, and may the winds of good fortune allow them to arrive when they arrive?
