Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow.

We had about 1 inch of snow today but I would't eat it unless I wanted to be poisoned by salt and sand and everything else they spray on it.

You're right about that Chantal, this planet is georgeous. The US had some magnificent places, my favorites are in the southwest. I voted on the best earth sites for the Grand Canyon.

I can't say about Limnos as I have never been there (looks Greek to me!) but on Iceland there are drinkable rivers everywhere so I just scoop up a kettle of river and boil it up for tea, Lava filtered water is the most delicious I know. Last summer when out with Helgi and Saevi at the glacier of Solheim doing a bit of aimless gardening, we ate ice that was 3,000 years old, the water of the ice was delicious, the volcanic ash it contained was crunchy. Chantal I have a calander from Canada hanging on my wall here, fine looking country you have there too.

Hollywood, Rod? I always heard it was Utah or Wyoming. But, wherever it is, I'd love to go at least for a day. As long as there's oxygen.

That same feeling you get from the treeless hills of Ísland, I get from the treeless hills of the island of Limnos. Most people find it strange, including most people who live there, but it sends a charge through me, a continuous transfusion of life-giving energy. Each to his own.

From John Collier's story "Witch's Money":
Foiral overtook him at the top of the ridge. He was staring down into the valley like a man thunderstruck.
"My God!" he said to Foiral. "Just look at it!" Foiral looked at it. There was nothing wrong.
