Note to arty Em, Carla Cryptic, Karen Champlin: The launch of some mail art was held up by an apparently pouty postal worker who refused at least once (probably 2 times) to carry what I'd left for him. This was remedied, so you all 3 will finally have that art I had promised lo, these many moons ago.
:(
Thanks to David Stafford for the wonderful cards, also! Can't remember if I posted here about them or not yet. (!) And two from Rose (no worries, by the way! - 2 is as good as three but I don't mind getting a third either!)
Adamandia, there is a set by Em on our "arty" wall here at our Studio. They are all wonderful. She gives world class art.
;)
That should read "if printed.'
Ever have one of those years when half of hte things you say or write come out piewackety? :P
New Freebies.
At the Studio's blog.
With our updated approach towards making things actually work out of printed. Please join us. We'd love to have you come by and check out the fun. We're talking templates and whatnot for (a) project(s). It's all free! ;)
Have a great Sunday, everybody!
Rose
Just a general not to all and sundry.
You know, this is the most challenging and fun thing for me to keep up with. I can't see myself doing it any other way.
My mojo struggled at the beginning. In fact, I feel a bit lame about some of the stuff I sent people. But today, I feel as tho' a lightbulb had gone on. Guess I hadn't thought of myself as being at all creatively blocked, but I may have been in a few ways Id never really thought about.
It's so interesting finding this out about myself when I least expected it. I'm kind of surprised at myself.
Your 3 in the mail by 1 tomorrow! (Thursday)
We used to have an Epson printer. They are to be used with frequency or they seize up, quit printing. Just a cheap ploy on the manufacturer's part for the sale of more ink.
Today's Epson All in One is so-o-o-o far superior to that old model! We really like it except for the color deal. It beats having no working model at all!
;)
3 for 3 is perfect for me. :D I'll send you some in tomorrow's mail.
All-in-One's do often suffer from the 'I do everything but nothing well' syndrome sometimes. My Mom has an Epson All-inOne, though, and Epsons generally give the best resolution and color printing of all the consumer inkjets out there. They (the printers) aren't expensive but the INK IS EXPENSIVE AS CHANEL no. 5 perfume! That's why I invested in a color laser printer. I had to produce high-end quality at the least expense and that was my (sort of) happy compromise. It costs more to get the color laser's going but they give you so many more high (and consistent) quality prints that it ends up being economical - if you're doing it for pay, especially. The really high-end inkjet printers (the giclée printers for example), give you amazing results but I was never able to afford one. When I had to do that level of prints, I'd just run them at a commercial print house.
