“Anything Goes — Everything Shows”

 Call for Entries — Deadline for submissions:  September 1, 2012 (postmark)

 Artists and (non-artists!) are invited to submit non-returnable artwork for the 7th annual Anything Goes, Everything Shows mail art show. There is no submission fee. Our mail art show title says it all! ALL submissions will be exhibited in The Courtyard Gallery, 109 Roberts St. in the River Arts District from September 15 – Oct 27. Opening reception is September 15th from 6pm-9pm Artists are encouraged to demonstrate or explore imagery of any kind.

Does this happen every year?  I missed 2012, but would enjoy sending something in for the next one.

Yes, It will be in August and September this year, the 8th annual 2013.

I sent some stuff for last year, and even went up to the gallery to see the display but it was closed. Such a bummer. Coming to Asheville next week and may pop in.

 

jon, great come on by, if the Gallery is ever closed just call 828-273-3332

and usually someone can come over to open the building and gallery it for you!

We have a permanent display of about 40-60 mail art items we have received

throughout the years, as a way of generating interest throughout the year.

We have attendees come to the show from Atlanta, Washington DC, NYC

and Canada each year. Come on over!

I tried using the first Facebook link to check out the work that was posted but when I clicked on it, it kept sending me to my events page. Is there another website to look at the work? A Blogger site perhaps or a different link?
