If it sounds exaggerated to say that all art is political, then what about "all politics are aesthetic"?

Or "Nothing is political."

sorry I also cannot join, to me art is expression of the soul and it may or may not make a political statement, I I have no say in this because I am alien lol

you probably already know my position on this...

i get parts of the criticism, but for me the manifesto becomes too absolute at certain points. especially the “posting mail art on social media is like dadas supporting WW1” line feels really over the top to me.

most mail artists probably just use these platforms pragmatically to connect and exchange work, not because they support surveillance capitalism.

mail art always felt more hybrid and contradictory to me anyway.

Woah... ALL  Art are political ?? Really ?? 🤔 Maybe some of my artworks happen to be, but other than that, I am not even sure if mines are political ?? Mostly, mines are just my fun hobby level...
