Collecting Mail-Art on March 8th 2014

Like any normal day, collecting my Mail at the P.O. Box in Breda, Netherlands. A small walk through the heart of the center, and get the mail today.

Wow, in your city there's still a real p.o.box office, lucky you!

Here the post company (PostNL) has closed the small p.o.box office and sent away the very kind elder lady who always was very thoughtful in managing the post.
And PostNL quit the beautiful red metal p.o. boxes, to change them into plastic white ones, and moved the p.o.box office into a kind of shop. Where also kind people work, but they also have a lot of other things to do, and to my experience they are less concerned about mail, compared to the kind elder lady whose main task was to take care of the (our!) mail.

So my wish for you is that your p.o.box office and postperson will stay there forever!
