ah, yes the owls.  I am a bit addicted to this OwlCam:

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/owlceanside

so meditative to watch them.

and I will have a few of the owl collages in the Gilpin Co Show this summer:

http://www.gilpinarts.org/ up in Central City -a fun place to visit.  I also have a couple up at the Georgetown Mt Art Gallery, another fun day trip to the mountains - lots of great Colorado artists there as well.

Ever go to the CORE gallery ATC trade?  2nd Saturday morning, I have never been but every month mean to get there. . . . . I hear it's awesome.

anyway, enough Colorado stuff . . . . back to mail art.

So glad you like the ATCs Rose.  I recently have been told by my post office that my packaging needs work so I have corrected it.  I owe you  one more card.

Rose,

Pretty good emoticon - I need something which would show me with a braid down each side of my head. ;)

The Patient is showing Patience. She is behaving herself very well -- considering. The local Funky Bistro Idiotique (FBI) would like to know your address again, as it wishes to send you something. The national Corruscating Idiosyncratic Artists (CIA) won't share this information with it. But it's needed. Please send

Bon Weekend, and keep feedeing those meerkats. VMHimself and no-one-else

Bonjour! I am glad you have been so constructively busy, because I have another -- after the joint book project -- idea for you to consider...after you have completed all of your domestic and horticulture labours, why don't you come to France ad do the same for me?

I've had to do it all myself today -- dust and polish, hoover and wash the floors, make some chowder, do the ironing, etc. If you'd like to walk the dog as well, I'll borrow one from a neighbour for you:otherwise you can talk to the cats. All of this awaits you next week, as do the pots on the terrace that are my garden and need re-filling for the spring and Summer when they decide that winter has to be done away with for this year.

Bon weekend

Regards, Moi

,Hi Rose: in addition to computer games concerning Victorian manners, I feel I should tell you that here's a partial list of other things I don't do -- ever: eat garlic; use a digital camera; play digital music in any shape or form; use a dishwasher; have anything to do with central heating; watch anything on TV except for sport; go to films, ballets, or the opera; ride camels; drink gin; do any social network stuff like facebook, twitter, etc; blog; have anything to do with any electronic product or service that starts with either an 'i' or an 'e'; and probably lots of other things, too, but that's enough for now.

Regards, val

Hi Rose,
have been to Boulder last June - sadly only for a day visit. But I loved the cafés, and the book shops and the artist retail store right off campus, of course ;-(

What is so strong about the image you use is that it seems to link directly to the age of romance.  I like it and, unless you find one even more apt I suggest you keep it!  This doesn't mean, of course, you shouldn't be looking!~)

Tell me about the image that you use here.
