Glad you received my mail art. Your Easter eggs are stunning!!!! I'm making my Easter chocolate torte, which has only three ingredients: 6 cups of chocolate, a pound and a half of butter, and 8 eggs. It's the kind of torte where if you eat more than one bite you break out in a sweat and your heart starts singing, "Swing Lo, Sweet Chariot."
KALO PASXA!

Hello Katerina--I'm sure your Easter eggs will turn out beautifully. Will you be posting photos of them? I am also wondering if you received my latest mail art card which I sent about two weeks ago? (titled Village Flavor)

thank you for posting a picture of the original stamp, katerina. would you mind if i copied it onto my computer to play with? it's so beautifully detailed! in your class photos, it looks like everyone is having alot of fun. i teach occasionally, here in the u.s., bookbinding, art journaling, altered art, mixed media, and origami, and am developing a rubber stamp line. i am thinking pretty seriously about developing a mail art class, now. what fun it would be! and i think folks will love it; it's such an egalitarian art form. my health is better every day, and i believe i've turned the corner, just in time to begin planting the garden with cool weather vegetables...thank you for writing! i must put together something to send you, my new friend!

yes, being v-e-r-y careful with the ouzo...a single shot glass, sipped over a couple of hours in the evening, and i have no cough or congestion throughout the night, with the added benefit it of deep restorative sleep. with a one shot limit, my companion and i are both very cheap dates. we usually have to split a beer, and end up quite snockered anyhow. fortunately, we generally only drink during televised football games...

Thanks for the nice comments about my self-portrait stamp. You did a great job with cut & paste! Stamps are small and hard to work with; even the larger Revenue stamps.

I "hand-drew" the grid behind the central image (vignette) via MicroSoft Paint, and changed the initials at the top to "F" and "D" (instead of "U" and "S). Then I superposed all over a block of 19th Century stamps. I like the ability to replicate in the digital medium as well as being able to "blow up" the image to work with tiny details.

Sometime soon, I hope to fire up a high quality printer and render some souvenie sheets of various issues of Fluxus Dakota to share with others.
