Oh, my, where to start? *All* of my mail was mail art today, and three pieces out of the four were from new friends and correspondents.

First off, I've got an envelope from Hilgart, who hails from Charleston West Virginia, with a fab b&w graphic on the front, which contains some photographs, a very nice diagram of an 1840s mechanical toy horse, some Dada Dollars, and a copy of HILGART RECEPTIVE #7.

Next up, a big bright red envelope from Truman Bentley, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia. Inside are some recipes for steak dishes, a pizzeria circular headlined "PROMISE OF DELIGHT", and a DVD.

And here's a big vanilla mailer envelope from Dan Buck, who lives in Armour, South Dakota, stuffed with fables about dogs and Mythical Creatures Found In Ancient Wood, a collage poem, a lovely green collage with American Indians, a flyer for an SFMOMA event this weekend which i might actually go to, and some cut-out newspaper funnies. Frank & Ernest, Zits and Baby Blues.

Last but not least, John M. Bennett in Columbus Ohio has sent me an envelope containing the following goodies: an add-pass booklet on the theme "In Your Eyes", a Vorticist Triangle card, a couple of poetic 5 1/2"x 4 1/2:" cards, and two very beautiful pamphlets made by folding 8 1/2" paper into quarters, with art and poetry.
