Sill celebrating: Birthday, New Year, even Bananas from Heleen!

What an "all-'round" card arrived today from Heleen,

I can still celebrate my birthday ,

and with the monkeys, celebrate the New Year,

and I see bananas...for Banana Days, too!

Great "altered" card, really...and I am loving these illustrated characters, too:

Some time ago, I was getting my mail art returned back to me

because my address was on the back along with all my rubber stamps,

one of which "Hand Stamped by..." looks like a postal service stamp.

I think the postal "machine" read the back side and sent it to me!

Now you will notice that the "Hand Stamped" is no longer on the outside :-)

And I put "arrows" pointing to the address of where it is to be sent.

so far, so good :-)

Glad it finally arrived, KAterina! I posted it several days before your B-day. And it arrived some weeks after... 

I heard the Year of the Monkey celebrations lasted until the first full moon (more or less yesterday) so I guess it still is in time - better late than never - and/or otherwise it is for your unbirthday-day :-)

All credits of the drawings on the card of course to Leendert Jan Vis! He creates awesome animals, and as you showed I wrote, he's one of my most favourite illustrators!

By the way, I posted the card 2-2-2016, and first it arrived at my place 3 febr., so I re-sent it immediately to you :-)
