That is amusing. You might not want to bring it to their attention, though.

I'm afraid I overgush about trashpo, but why not? It's so much better than, say, ruffles.

Thank you Nancy--it is right in the lobby of city hall and was fun watching people look at it. I find it amusing actually that I have to pay to throw out my trash, yet they let me bring in trash from over 15 countries/

Thanks Jim--I was deeply inspired by the film noir genre--minus the noir part

DiANE!!! How great is this?!? Perfect film! Out of this world exhibit! Let's face it, you're not just the Queen of Trashpo...you're the Queen's Mother...the Queen's Muse...the Queen's Jewel! Oh my wow.

one of the few classic films that remain true to the book...

thank you for your comments-not all the art made it up yet as there were some casualties in transit, but it will be patched up. I dedicate the whole show to you two for actually watching it and commenting:)

Has to be the greatest Trashpo film of all time - I can only think of D.W. Griffiths' Birth of a Nation as having this kind of significance - the tonality, DK's directing, the credits...

I certainly nominate this for a TrashPo Litzer Prize in the feature film category.Stunning and deeply moving. Beyond words.

Congrats to all the artists, too!  Quite a compendium.

Um... please pardon my language, but that was ephing BRILLIANT!  What is the equivalent of a Trashpo Oscar?  "Trashscar" doesn't sound right and possibly too violent....  Maybe a Garbage Globe award?  Excellent job, madame.  Thank goodness the gallery walls were on wheels... did the City Hall security guard have anything to say?  I love that you can put that venue on your artist vitae now...
