Postal Outliers Exhibit Open - Boise State University in Idaho

This exhibit was conceived of in November 2019.  We had no idea what was about to unfold in the coming year.  We had a tremendous response to our International Mail Call.  Over 250 objects from 174 artists from 24 countries and 19 states were received.  In addition, we highlighted 8 artists from my personal collection.  The gallery is the only one open on campus at the moment, however it is technically closed to the public due to Covid-19.  Lack of funding has prohibited a digital version being posted, though there is a link to a few still photos and commentary.  boisestate.edu/finearts/  Thank you to all of the participating artists and supporters of this project.

I am very pleased to see this, Debra, but I'm also a little bit....my goodness, there are still real world events out there, somewhere far away. All of ours have been cancelled. I wish I was there!

I just learned today that there will be an interactive online exhibit produced.  I’m not sure how long before it is complete, but I will definitely post it here so anyone who is interested can “attend”.  I am very excited to see that happen!

Thank you, Debra for all your hard work. The sampling looks wonderful. I wish I could see the exhibit in person.
