Dean likes to surprise and this was a most welcome surprise!! Painted by mouth. Beautiful.

I think Dean makes references to my "hand-painted" photo I sent him last week :)))

Thank you so much for No. 511, Dean!

I have a set lying around for ever, so unfortunately they have dried out. I need to find time and the right idea to make a refill.

Are BLO pens American?  I'm not sure how I got this set.  I was cleaning out a closet and at first I put them in the trash, but then took them out, and thought, hey, I'll give them a try.

I need to keep one step ahead of Carina you know.  It's a very difficult task.

Can't wait to see Snooky!

Yes, you are lucky, Dean. Not much food in the forests here around though, but I can make you a picnic basket to take with you ;)

Thank Carina for trying.  I tried again too and found that they have changed the St. Michel metro station so it is no longer there.  I guess I'll go over to the Centre George POMPIDOU and ask someone.  Great to have these places on your door step.

OH yes, I can see me now in Finland chopping down trees and making art with the leftovers.  I hope one can also find food in the forests !

Dean, tried to look up your "triangle wood installation" but didn't find anything, I found an interesting artist though, Phoebe Washburn, who works with wood scrap, something for you? She calls her work "spontaneous architecture", love that.

No No, I'll have to hunt around and see if I can find it.

Well knowing that I could never hand paint anything as good as Carina, I thought I might try something different.  Well actually I was cleaning house and was about to throw out these children BLO pens.  What you cannot see from the photo is that the colours change by looking at it from different angles.

An idea I got from the St. Michel metro station which is an idea from an art piece in the Centre George POMPIDOU which I saw once.   I tried to look it up, but not sure where to look.

I'll try to explain it.  You take a long pieces of wood in a triangle shape.  Glue them side by side to the wall, and then paint each side differently.  When you are at one side of the room you see one thing and then it changes when you move to the other side of the room.

Where's Erni when you need him?  I'm sure he knows about this artist.

Happy it arrived, and thank you for the kind blog Carina.  Yes, we got new dishes, and this was the packing between the plates.

Thank you Jay for the nice words, but my mail art is only supposed to be funny.  Beautiful makes me nervous.
