Of love, neglect (forgive me!) & the magnificent Vizma Bruns

In March, I Finally arrived at my new home. Greeting me was a deliciously enormous pile of MA.

I will scan it all, but it would take far too much time to blog it all (and I need the time to set up a damned studio - I am going maaaad without one!!!!)   Aaaaanyway, I shall be blogging a few of the pieces, and the first shall be that of Vizma. As I have long meant to blog some other wondrous work she has sent me, I shall make this my total Vizma blog. I shall begin with the beauty that greeted me here:

What always so mesmerizes me about Vizma's work, is that it can in a turn vie between stunning beauty, and witty beauty -

I find myself caught between giggling and catching my breath...: Such an utterly joyous dichotomy - I love it!!!

The following a a gorgeous Klimpt inspired booklet I received in Pittsburgh earlier this year

She had noted the Klimpt prints on my wall in pictures of my room/studio that I had posted - just too-too thoughtful and charming this beloved wench!

And finally, below is the 1st piece she sent, the sweetest charm for my Birthday in Oct.:
