"...the barstaff now know what my regular tipple is, and serve me a glass of red wine without me having to ask for it..."

Ah, nirvana has been attained!

Do you pray with me, or for me, Richard?

Ruud might have said it from day one, but in the beginning I wasn't there when the heavans and the earth were created.

Katerina, if the Café de Paris has such goodies, and if I sent them to youn then your natural instincts to blog them would be overpowering, so rather than lead you into the valleys of temptaion, etc, I won't send any to you. (Yet)

07.12.14 ..... Yes, thanx to the whirlwind Herrman, consistently marking & posting his valentines,it is easier to see that we all are rightfully where we are suppose to be. We are all indeed & were all along  " Artists-In-Residence ".   .......but isn't that also what Ruud Janssen was saying from day one?????Valentine Mark Herman kindly shares his appreciation as dutiful as prayer.

Tsk, tsk, tsk...no more La Rotonde???

Comment by Valentine Mark Herman on December 7, 2014 at 2:45pm

It's said that, in his lifetime, an Englishman changes his wife twice, his bank once, but never changes his football (soccer to you Yanks) team.

But after 10 years, I've changed my local bar from La Rotonde to the Café de Paris. Whilst I am still working towards any sort of 'residency' I might eventually attain there, the barstaff now know what my regular tipple is, and serve me a glass of red wine without me having to ask for it..

Um, La Rotonde? Oh, this has finished.... I still think you'll be spending more time at the pub than at home.
