GOTIJ Mim completes "365" and BrisChris sends her #70

Mim Golub Scalin joined me and others at "365" last December 1, 2010. And making mail art daily and sending 365, we completed "365" on november 30, 2011. Mim did a spectacular finish making several small landscape painting beaming with blue and greens and light! It is her #365! Congrats, girl! xxx

I am afraid scanning or photographing Mim's art does not do it justice. This is a splash of abstract expressionistic brush strokes that flow beautifully together to create an uplifting landscape scene. Beautiful!

Also at "365" is BrisChris, from Brisbane, Australian. She sent her #70, "flood art", part of her series using photographs that were damage during the floods in Brisbane. Yet, with her stitchery and fabric backing, Chris makes wonderful haptic art from damaged photos. Thank you so much for sending this! xx
