Thankfully Dean has posted a photo of this great piece I received from him that deserves to be shared. The story is hilarious and Dean never seems to run out of great ideas. Love you Dean!!
Comment
Still one of my favorites
Maybe it's ketchupual. Beware of naming art movements, Val. You never know what you might start. Isn't there already a field called Hermaneutics?
That's it, DVS...the cats got it. Time to call off the UN cats of war.
Have you and Diane created a new art genre: catceptual non-art?
Val
Maybe Val. The link goes to some work by Dean that hasn't self-deconstructed yet and is definitely fantastic.
I saw the comments by Diane claiming her cats were pressing buttons on her scanner and were casting votes against her - suggesting she is imagining some sort of feline conspiracy. As art is a perilous endeavor, I think we should do what we can when we see a comrade slipping.
But with all the conceptual art, who knows?
Thx
DVS: this non-photo is probably the result of Dean's it-never-ceases-to-amaze-me-what-he-will-come-up-with-next mind.
I suspect that i) Dean sent Diane something, that ii) she posted here, but iii) 14 nanoseconds after its posting it self-destructed, and so iv) we're looking at nothing that was something once upon Dean's time.
I believe that this weekend Dean will be working on reversing this process -- trying to turn nothing into something.
(Hey Dean! How about tryng this with something easy to manage such as an African elephant?)
The UN is investigating the military implications of this.
Regards, Val
Diane, it's great of you to post this d-kool RK and Trashpo-like work from Dean Marks for us.
But, hon, could we talk? Only because I'm worried about you? Your posting blogs with no pictures. And the blogs are about the pics that aren't there.
I know the D-KULT is under tremendous pressure right now. I just wanted to do a reality check.
