Erni's Mummy says: All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go ...

All my bags are packed I'm ready to go
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin' it's early morn
The taxi's waitin' he's blowin' his horn

The adventures of Erni's Mummy begins.

Mummy enjoyed this little visit and made her feel at home.

What a great idea to put pennies on a tomb.

Now Erni wonders about mummy visiting the slot machines. Hopes are dashed.

Oh THAT song, Dean. Occasionally one misses it, so it's great you mentioned it. Why can't America be like the rest of the world is a big question. I ask it myself sometimes though it seems unanswerable. Mummy may find at least one path-altering answer. Stay tuned?

Mummy will visit the Pyramid???

Comment by Dean aka Artist in Seine on May 31, 2013 at 4:20pm

Little error today.  Mummy read the guide book wrong.

We were suppose to visit this place at 11:00.  It turns out that it is 11pm and not 11am.  Why can't America be like the rest of the world?

But at 11pm tonight we'll be in Vegas, but what else can we find to visit before we leave?

Oh I don't know about the lakes, I think that last photo was a fountain.  But on Mingei side of things there was a lot happening.

Hey, that looks like me:

The road is long, (and wide, about 8 lanes!) to San Diego.  Mummy was in the back seat listening to country music on the radio.  She cried during the song about when the cowboy's pickup truck broke down, his dog died, and his wife ran away with a city fella.  But we made it there before the sun went down.

Very nice story Dean, glad you are back on the track... with the mummy and camera.

Best lost camera and police station story in life. The mummy may have guarded it well, too. And the celebration looks yummy. All in all it must have been a very heartening day.
