Mail Art Robots?  Never !   We'll it might make life a lot easier.  It would be nice to have a machine which could write funny blogs for me.

You know, something like this; "Diane's work combines natural and man-made forms into symmetrical abstract compositions. Her pieces often constructed from the discards of contemporary culture are incorporated into the construct in order to be perceived in a formistic way yet retaining the recognizable original character as well. Her works have a totemic, icon-like presence and are sometimes humorous and often brooding."

Thank you Diane for these multi-Mail Art pieces, I did notice the big barcode which I thought was very touching.

The DKultNY vigil cured me of all my attachments--now I am de-tached

The Monkey Purge mail-art is by RCBz of Minnesota.

DKULTNY is with you in a constant vigil hoping for your recovery.

HANDS-ON APPROACH: Oral Roberts, faith healing in '62, was one of the first to preach on TV. The university founder was known for his claim that God would 'call me home' for failing to meet a fund-raising target.

"Words can paint a thousand ships, loose hips can sink them"

a  new line of preachy fortune cookie

Thanks for taking away my sin DVS-I thought my confession to Blessed Father did it, but apparently he has to believe I am remorseful for it to work

Such a strange picture. whose monkey purge artwork is that?

Loose hips sink ships. Thousands - Are these the hips that launched a thousand ships?

Great art, great blog, great ripostes!

Diane is so right--it sounds exactly like DVS, and at first I thought you MUST have copied from one of his blogs, Dean. That you're that articulate sure is impressive. Who knew? Ok, we've had more than one glimpse, so it's not a total shock. Nicely cranked out, anyhow.

Well as you know, words can paint a thousand pictures.  Or maybe it's a thousand ships.
Yes, that's it; "Words can paint a thousand ships."  Great title for a Mail art piece.  Who's up for it?

RCBz skewered me during the Monkey Purge too. I am a Mail-Art Martyr. I am crucified for your sins.

Damn!! that mail art robot you used wrote a stellar review!! and how did he manage to sound just like DVS?He/Shebot even hit on points I wasn't even pointing at! I WAS trying to draw parallels between Elmo and the Mail Art robots and the depersonalization/dehuminazation of  those faceless shadow people. Notice how Elmo appears to be holding/offering something (the balloons), yet they are melting/dripping as if evaporating-as though nothing there. no substance, no fulfillment. empty promises. fading love The need for sustenance can only be found via carrot juice, which is made by yet another machine. And yes, that juicy barcode screamed DEAn! to me! thanks for blogging
