FINALLY! The mail I've been waiting for since Dean made this on the 6th of August! He sent it to Riga and I had just left, and my brother emailed to say he picked up some MA from the post office from a laughing post lady! Anyway, he said I had to come back if I wanted it, and a long argument ensued over several weeks until I convinced him to send! (I just had to say I'd pay the postage!) He ended up putting it in a whiskey tin which I bought him, and this is how it arrived all wrapped up and un-Deanish.
This is the official side, nice stamps, collage, blokes drinking in a house made of bottles...
and on the other side...
CHAMPAGNE CORKS!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
All French too, and stuck in an egg carton with some crazy glitter glue! Now that's a sparkling idea!!!
This piece is sooooo cool, because;
1. Vizma in Latvian means sparkle!
2. My grandfather LIVED in Champagne, the place in France, not in a bath full of it, (before Val makes a comment)
3. I looooove champagne!!!
4. It just IS!!!
Thanks Dean and Cheers!!!

HA! Yep, must go to Champagne to find my roots!
AH that's where that "Ruin Art" champagne capsule went to. I have been looking ever where for it!
Boy, those were the days.
Yes, now I remember why you want a tour of the Champagne area. But what if we find lots of children that look like your Grandfather?
Always need a reminder that Angie's kids...and Snooky ...read these comments and blogs.
Wouldn't want to shock SnookyDog with that photo, will keep it under wraps.
Where is that bottle of chocolate, Dean?
That photo could go here...choco glam never offended anyone :-)
No, it's low art in high places.
Bend and push it in...OMG. What rudies you people are!! I always thought this was a serious place to discuss high art. ;-P
After I posted that comment, I just knew someone would pick up on it ... but I never thought "The School Teacher"! You just keep your under wraps photos to yourself. There are children reading these blogs!
KATERINA!!!!??? !!!!!
So glad Dean wrote "mailbox" before slot and push it in?
I wasn't there for the Hotel Conversation, Viz, but I was there
for what is "under wraps"...I know, I took the photo :-)
Aaah, tis a good morning ....
but I must run some errands first...be back later for more bubbly!
