I have always been fascinated by mail - sending or receiving it. I've always sent postcards while traveling and mailed greeting cards to friends and family.
I'm a calligrapher and have enjoyed integrating calligraphy techniques into mail art. For some techniques it is challenging to incorporate it into mail art. Some calligraphy techniques are illegible. So, using them and keeping them legible is a challenge.
In short, I like putting something in the mail knowing that someone, somewhere in the world will get a smile when they see it.
