JMB - DK - 8.14.2016 - 10011

Redepaired – a collab book by John M. Bennett (Columbus, Ohio, USA) and Diane Keys (Elgin, Illinois, USA). This is the first entry in the Karnival of Trash 2016 international mail art exhibition. Redepaired is published by Luna Bisonte Prods.

August 14, 2016 - I am pleased beyond measure to open the Karnival of Trash exhibition I am curating with an extraordinary package sent by John M. Bennett. The jewel in the crown of this mailing is a copy of Redepaired, a collaborative book by John and Queen of Trash Diane Keys. The contents are breathtaking. So on the occasion of the impending Karnival of Trash (September 27-30), I will share the complete edition. Click pages to enlarge:

I definitely endorse the testimonial by Olchar below. Luna Bisonte is one of the great avant/post-avant publishers and has strong ties to the mail art network.

A pic of JMB & DK that I think was taken at this year's Fluxfest.

Thanks. JMB was exceedingly generous with this mailing. I think there is room for all kinds of material in this show.

I've been toying with some Karnival de Trash slogans: "Trashpo - this isn't funny anymore." "Trashpo - it can only get better."

In terms of competition, there is no competition. There is an older saying: "In Trashpo. nobody wins."
