Can Tab Experience, Artist in Seine

These colorful can tabs are enough proof to me. Old Havana is running out of bear as waves of tourists Dean arrive(s)! The tabs are carefully sewed into the map of old Havana. Very nice. Thank you Dean!

Happy the Cuba piece arrived.  That seems so long ago.

Lol, maybe postage serves as hard currency over there. Anyhow thanks for the great story and the smiling dolphin! P.S. A barcode card arrived here the other day, wow!

Well it did have a dolphin jumping into the picture, but it looks like someone didn't like that idea.   That Kat is always correct.  Exactly, the tabs were sewn on the long flight back to Paris.  They took my scissors away at the airport so I had to bite the thread with my teeth. Now that's a real artist!

This was one of the first postcards I purchased.  So there was no stamp attached.  I read later that you should buy postcards with pre-printed postage stamps.  That way they can not peel off the stamp and throw the card away.  (Must be a big problem there.)  I remember being so excited to have found this famous stone mask mailbox, that I just started putting my completed Mail Art in one by one.  Only when they were all in did I realize that I hadn't put a stamp on Carina's card.  I thought for sure that it would never arrive.  But here it is!  Viva Cuba!  What an amazing story, and likely the best mailbox I ever mailed from.

Thanks for the blog.  Yes, Patricia, if only you could swim 90 miles, you could be there too!

Colorful tabs!

And what patience to attach them all (while InSeine was on the long transAtlantic flight back?)

The Hemingway postcard may have included the "postage", as I see it on the card I received too?

(although there is an additional CUBA stamp)

This postcard arrived on Monday, weeks after Can Tab Experience - card. I'm glad it arrived at all since it has no postage! All the way from Cuba. With greetings from Hemingway's Cuba house. Very cool!
