Ryosuke started Brain Cell in June of 1985 and almost 23 years later, has completed 732 issues.

At this rate it will take another 8 years to reach 1000.

When Ryosuke came to California, he stayed in my home for a few days.
I asked him if he had a completion number in mind, a number of issues that he wanted to reach. How long did he plan on doing Brain Cells?

His answer was that he planned to complete an issue every 10 days for as long as he could.

Most participants will send him something and wait to get a response before they participate in another Brain Cell. Because of Ruosuke's process, his mailings are a few months behind and he often mails out several issues at a time.
Since he is starting a new issue every 10 day, many participate will send him something every 10 days.
