Blue tape- ATCs from Karen Champlin and MinXus stamps from Dark wall

I have several blue tape envelopes from Karen Champlin. I don't really know what Karen and De Villo's blue tape collaboration really is about, but I take it as a seal of quality :-)) Her ATCs are pocket-size masterpieces. Extremely well crafted. I love the neatly punched holes on those (and the A inside!). Every time I see them I think yes, she truly is the boss of them ATCs. Lucky me, thank you Karen!

From one blue tape to another one, I am proud to introduce Dark wall's new MinXus stamps. Dw doesn't send out much mail but he actually is a prolific artist. He doesn't talk much (though he can repeat the word DKoder an impressive amount of times) so I thought I would make a bit of promotion on his behalf. I consider those as received material and I will be using them on future envelopes to promote the Arthur Rimbaud School of Aesthetics and Subtle Obscurity :-))

The first set of stamps was a prototype, bearing a blue tape X, which I found really cool. The set below is the final version, with some of the minxes wearing little crowns. I just love them, thank you Dark wall, as usual your imagination knows no borders!

This is better left for private, but Gster was gone when you arrived? Then how did you end up in the Marie Antonette role? You've always been one of his favorites. In the beginning, I think you were making bunny stamps. They were good bunny stamps, but not nearly reaching your potential. Now look at you. Now look at us. Sad, man.

You've registered this complaint many times. We'll have to consider it. Buckethead is his real-life hero, but OK.

This is all fine but Dw should do something about that headgear IMHO. And the hair. And the make up.

Oh, and Trashpo has made it OK to use corporate logos. Dw can wear a Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket on his head, and you know he's not an agent corporate imperialism.

Blue tape was a marker so that someone knew immediately who was sending it but it was independent of any sort of extra affiliation or reference. A different time.

OK, please don't cry ;-)) Grigori posting comments on IUOMA was before-CB. I have never witnessed it, unfortunately.

Got something from him today ;-))

I'll have to scan it. He liked it very much. I don't want to start shedding tears in my oatmeal, but can you imagine not all that long ago he was here posting comments (even though he can't speak a word of English)?

I'm sure we'll see more MinXus stamps.

CP-SA must be catching up with some sleep. I'm hoping we'll get a glimpse of her later today.

Thanks for the blue tape update, that's exactly what I wanted to know, how it all started and what it is about.

A blue tape piece about Grigori I have never seen? Bring it on! it's not this one is it?

And where is Cp-sa?

For the old hardcore blue tape gang of 2010 - the idea is lifted from a book by Stewart Meyer called "The Lotus Crew." But the connection is very obscure, and not worth pursuing. BUT it's the only Beat-related reference I was ever able to stump Erni Baer with. I think Skybridge had an almost complete set of blue tape pieces. Before your time CB! Before all the holes! Heck, there is a blue tape piece about Grigori Antonin I'll wager you never saw.
