Funny collages by Dean Marks. What a fun idea! It should totally become a Tumblr (is it still a thing?) or Instagram account. Bananas in History with all sorts of artworks combined with bananas. I would definitely follow something like this (wink, wink).
On another note, Banana Day was a success at my local post office. The people who work there got very excited to see the things I was sending and receiving. It was really great to realise that mail art is fun not only for me but for the people involved in the process too.

Mr. Dean and Mr. Canard, you are both golden.
Deer Ms Ana,
Happy it arrived and it caused all this ruckus.
But isn't that what Mail Art is about; showing a lack of emotional maturity.
It's harder to make someone laugh than it is to make them serious.
Celery Sins,
Bean Dean
Thank you very much for the blog and always love to read / translate / decipher Richard's comments. Sometimes it takes me all day. Often I understand it when I'm in a public place, like on a crowded train, and I start laughing hysterically. Normally people then give me lots of room. He's a life saver that Richard.
Mine too, Mr. Canard.
14.12.16 Dare Ms. Ana Kawajiri, ... I find the" Bananas In History"postcard by Dean Marks to be sophomoric but very funny nonetheless. ...my cup of tea-- I'm afraid . Sincelery, Richard Canard
Happy Banana Day everyday!
