[Lux of the Agony]

Peace is a mender, mending.

It is subject to harm, but does not retaliate;
the martyrdom & the joyful victim.

Peace sews the fabric which was torn,
and brings wars to an end.

She is never violent,
but bathes in patience in the deep end;
catching her breaths by the grace of God.

Peace is the sword,
reshaped into the harvest tool;
which reaps enough,
to feed the hungry mouths,
starving in Gaza.

Peace dismantles an atomic bomb,
and makes amends with her persecutors;

She is The White Lily,
praying over her children on Earth;
asking them to spread her news of Heaven.

She brings water to the thirsty,
and kisses sweetly those who suffer
from loneliness & despair.

Imitate your mother, who brings no malice to the table;
and you will see an end to war & violence.
