Another wonderful piece from Karin Greenwood in South Africa. There was a poem on the back also,
Blue Bird
I see a little bird,
My mind in turmoil,
Is the bird injured,
Do I let it go, or do I wait?
Is it just…
Since Val measure the weight of his collection and threatens to exhibit it I dared to send him yet another painted envelope after he filled my archive also with this card:
What he has to deal with is this envelope. No, the content I won't reveil....…

Nancy, hope you don't mind me posting this--
This is an excerpt from a note from NBS that I thought was very evocative and poetic. I love the image of mail art being a 'colorful riotous crowd of crazy people"
What do you do with received MA? There's so much I love and can't stand to just file away in a box or closet. Right now, four months' worth is on my desk in a big but low box so that it looks like a colorful riot of MA standing up every which way--like a…

New autumn series from Katerina today. Maybe I will NOT sell my shredder after all, I see that shredpo is still in. If Katerina sends it, it's in. At first I didn't notice, but Katerina didn't just shred any piece of paper, she shredded.... dollars!! A very bold move in the kingdom of Po! And it makes me all the richer. Rich of of warm colors and of warm thoughts, thank you so…

I have been trying to understand the concept of fluxus. I’ve gone to Wiki, read some of the history and I still don’t have a concrete grasp. It’s no big deal, I’m not the sharpest puppy in the kennel. I did note however, that some people claim that fluxus died in 1978. Does this mean that people who do fluxus now are (OMG!) zombies? “I’m a superhero” will be so pleased if that is the case...

If you've got time and money (just a few cents - sense? ) be sure to attend David Staffords School for the Natural Lowering of Self Esteem. IF he does not succeed with your self esteem, I am certain he can achieve lowering your hair. Especially hers. Although, the bouffant - is it coming back?
IF that School does not appeal to you, attend the Daycare for Your inner…

Mail-art by IUOMA member Richard Canard (Carbondale, Illusion, USA)
November 15, 2011 - If Richard Canard's wisdom could be placed between a book's covers, might we call it Poor Richard's Almanac? Ask…

Dean Marks, merry prankster in Paris, sent me this gargantuan card. The scans do not convey its heft, supplied by a piece of plexiglas from a fallen traffic signal. In other words, industrial strength trashpo or Traffic Light from the City of Lights (they can spare one). Featured on the front is another of Dean's barcode creations to which he has affixed my head. Aside from aiding and abetting my cult, the entire thing resembles a costume drawing for an Ubu Roi update. The barcode booties…
