This little piece initially had me stumped. It measures 5" x 3.5" and I was scared to try to open it. So I carefully cut the tape holding it closed and got one end open.
Inside I found this adorable little monster yelling HEY and on the other side this fluffy little sheep.

My scanner be damned again, I don't think you can fully appreciate the textures of this card, unfortunately. This is the second mail I was lucky to receive from Angie and Co, and if I'm not mistaken it is a "give what you get" in answer to my…

THIS IS EXCITING!
Austin has sent me many works over the last several months. He developed a beautiful signature style that is all his.
But I received a piece yesterday from Austin and it blew my feeble mind! A rainbow of high intensity colors all mixing together!

I love this path your on Austin. Yes, I promise to PAY ATTENTION. Thanks much…

Mail Art received first week January 2011.
So here's the thing. You DONT want to meet a chrysalis like this. But, whats the point of a pupa? To change - to move from one form to another. In Julian's World Town I'm guessing that people could be born in Pupa's :-) And, living in Africa means I get an immediate connection to masks. This takes me to Picasso's 1906/07 period too, where he was influenced by African masks and Iberian sculpture. Julian is America, and Picasso was Spanish…

I took some step-by-step photos of my painting/drawing process for Mailart piece #017. I thought I'd share them here.

An envelope with the Art Nation stamp is always a promise of something mind blowing, and I think this is one of Karen's very best. A simple cardboard offcut turned into the most beautiful piece of art. Well, I don't think it happened just like…
