S.I had never heard of that phrase but I looked it up and apparently it is an important position for women preparing to give birth. I like thinking of Rilke as a tailor, stitching together poems.

Rilke's letters are among the best. His work is very important to me. Glad you like the doll! Again my doll was too big for the scanner so I had to fold him up. :-)

I read Rilkes Letters on Cézanne when being an art history student and while visiting a Cézanne exhibition myself. Great using photo combined with the b&w paper body.
