I've heard of minks... Here they are a cute little persian-make cat that wears mascara... (Although sometimes she behaves like a rodent...)

No, no Cheryl,. Chinchillas are some kind of rodent. They're not cats. Where I am they used to trap them and make coats out of them - that's why I called your cat a scarf. Like minks. Have you ever heard of minks?

What about the chinchilla? You have one of those too? I'm interested in the chinchilla.

No, I'm looking at her, she is definitely a cat, not a scarf. I am posting a photo of Chocolate for you.

Cheryl, the Artaud essay on Van Gogh - yes! Good call. One of his better ones I think. Then you're talking about the Don McLean song too? The actual artwork is nice too. You have a pet what? Chinchilla? I thought those were a type of scarf.

I'm afraid Karen got it - the scene from CROWS IN THE WHEAT FIELDS (July 1890) and following one of the trains of thought by DVS - Antonin Artaud said "I hear crows wings beating like a cymbal above an earth whose fullness van Gogh appears no longer to contain. Then death." The back of the card has some lines from VINCENT (the song) - paint your palette blue and grey...look out on a summers day with eyes that watch the world and cant forget.... You all know the one...
I think the fact that my blog is hijacked by you lot while I'm asleep fantastic - and spooky!
