Hello Tomoe and DVS,
Interesting MacBag for envelope...is there a MacMail art project? I have bags from the series"I'm lovin it"...all languages: English, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese,Thai, Russian...even Turkish, but where,oh where, is the Motha-of-all-language:Greek? I had to add+pass :-( The bags do make good envelopes,eh?

Tomoe - congratulations on having this piece featured at the IUOMA. Mail-art is a big network with other artists. So I think it is good to do if you can find time.

I had teachers too who did not like conceptual art and thought mail-art was a waste of time. I did work that would make them happy in school. And I did mail-art. I kept them separate. That is hard. I understand how difficult it is.

I know things are still bad with the economy in Japan. The US is very similar. We have to get through it somehow. Things will improve. But I do not think this one will be short. It is very difficult for people.

It is nice to talk to you again. I get so busy with work I am not always able to stay in contact. But let's keep in touch. I like all your different work. And many other people do too. Thank you as always, De Villo

Hi, I am almost out of school after this semester. I am an adult student. So at least what I can do is to do networking. haha. Thank you!

My teacher that I am taking seems kind of disagree about the notion of mail art, because it is not commercial, and she say, because mail art means "art to mail box" (I think she contrast to "not to a gallery") after they got it, eventually they are throw them away. I don't think it is true, isn't it? That makes me little irritating.

My school is kind of traditional and I think conceptual and traditional art would never be on the same notion. I used to go to conceptual art school in San Francisco, so I miss it. (Both current school and previous schools are located in SF, but I am just taking online from Japan).

No redundancy Tomoe - we know people liked this "found" art from the Golden Arches elsewhere. It is positive that IUOMA friends can see this. I am thinking of doing something like this for a mail-art project. But not for Japan! Don't worry. Always nice to see you Tomoe.

Haha. It's kind of redundancy but I will catch up my works here in IUOMA too. ; ) Thank you De Villo.
