Dean,owing to a reduction in Erni's Mail Art postage budget caused by the ongoing € crisis, and Chancellor Merkl's reluctance to transfer German taxpayers money directly to me without going through the ECB, ESF, ABC and Route 66, Erni will not be posting me a stuffed wolf.

Instead he will be sending me an unstuffed wolf, and said wolf will have a map and directions as to how to get to Sigean. The wolf will also have a pack (in his backpack, of course), a packet of stuffing, and instructions for me as to how to kill and stuff said wolf.

I think I will become a vegetarian.

I think I'll send Erni some money for a stamp, instead.

Anything, Dear Erni, will be much appreciated. You feature (sort of) in a limited edition piece I made up at the weekend but haven't been able to photocopy cos the one and only colour  photocopier in the villge is kaput, I'll send the piece to you when it gets sorted out. Go on -- spoil yourself, grab another 15 minute
