Mike, thank you so much for the gorgeous "pneumatology" card. I have been just staring at it for the longest time! And for the"poet" dictionary page! Thanks also for your nice letter and book recommendation. Although I am in good health I have been feeling quite old and fragile lately, so it sounds like a good book for me. You have really hit the ground running with your mail art--I'm happy to be your M.A. friend!

Hey Mike.  Thanks for the art mail I received from you last week.  I am on holiday now in Santa Fe NM, and by accident, stumbled into a cool, quirky rubber stamp store.  I managed to get out of there without breaking the bank, haha.  I did find something I love which you will get to see on my ne t post to you when I get home.  Watch for something from me in a week or two.  Cheers

Lucky for me I am officially retired so I try not to let things interrupt my art mail endeavors.  Making art in my pajamas, drinking coffee and listening to NPR is my favorite way to start the day. 

Of the three thrift stores in Spearfish, SD, the Salvation Army often has books on sale @ 5/99¢.  Sometimes they're 10/99¢.  Talk about a source of images and then some!  Yes, my alias is Ima Hoarder.

Hi.  I did check out the self inking return address stamp.

I really like it but wish it was a bit smaller.......Another website/business that has fun stuff is Olathe poste in CO.  http://www.theolatheposte.com/.  If you visit their website, take a look under their mail art category.  I like the way you created a "screen" with slats (or weaving) around the photo images you cut out.  Very nice idea - it really seems to highlight the images.  Thanks again Mike.

Got in late last night and found the mail art.  Very nice indeed. 

Mike, We lost our playoff match today, 2 out of 5 courts.  I am disappointed, but ok.  I came home to find some new art supplies and two pieces of mail art, one from you.  Thanks so much.    As you get older, you sometimes feel like the fun is done.  But, getting a chance to play tennis (so much tennis), care for Wyatt and spend a lot of time reading and doing art . . .well, I know that there is A LOT of fun left to enjoy!  See you in the mail.  JUDY and JOEY

Hi Mike, Dropped a small package in the mail to you this morning.  El cheapo goody from the Greater STL Book Fair last Friday.  I also found some cool, mail art "stuff."

I went out to get some lunch and when I got back there was some mail art from you.  Nice surprise!  (You're getting good at this sewing thing. . .) :)  Thanks for the ATC and note.  Life is certainly a mystery, and I have also had bad things happen to good people I know.  Maybe some day we will understand more than we do now.
