Katerina thank you so much for the fantastic TLP "Dada 100" -- it's really not at all trashy--it's beautiful and I love it. And the card you included with the Keith Chambers stamp, your great stamps, and wonderful paint -- even better! You are a mail art rock star!
Naterina, your letter arrived intact. The contents were placed in the consideration holding area. Once the scanners report to their stations, the images will be scanned for sharing online (possibly: IUOMA and/or Facebook Mail Artists group). Best, Bhomas.
We have a really special once on the east coast USA exhibit of the Greeks from Agememnon? to Alexander the Great antiquities at our National Geographic Museum. It was outstanding to see. It brought back all the wonderful memories of when I visited Greece. So grateful for all of your museums and other countries for the loan. Hope all is well.
You are lucky to have all of that so close by. I will at some point be back it is my favorite country that I visited so far. I have not seen the islands and want to very much.
The exhibit is very heavily guarded and all the art is encased so it is well cared for.
Fantastic package from you today MomKat! I love what you are doing with the sandpaper landscapes! What humble materials to make such lovely work. And thank you so much for the amazing boekie. It has everything -- beautiful blue images, asemic writing, wonderful painted lattice, and the text lying behind everything. Just perfect. And I'm always so happy to receive an Add & Pass! Thanks again so much!
Yes. Thank you for the moon booklet! I sent you a postcard a week or two ago. Hopefully it arrived. No obligation to blog it, of course. Let me know if it showed up.
Ναί.
OH JOY! Greek Dada A&P boekie! Thank you so much for sending this to me. Along with the special little envelope to trashpo just for me! Wonderful washi tape, and Banana Lover's Day Card! Magnificant envelope, too! You rock, MomKat!
Happy and inspiring mail, your Greek Dada boekie! Looking forward to add to (started a little already) and return it (please have a little patience - as always with me - conerning returning, but I take it everywhere I go to add little by little, in all spare minutes :-) !
The Banana mail Art I already posted in the Banana group (couldn't wait until tomorrow, THE (Banana Lovers) Day).
And of course I was happy you added animals, so I had a good alibi to post some of your mail art in my Real Weird Animals blog :-)
Katerina, your sumptuous dada trashpo book and the moo book arrived safely. I am really enjoying this and keep flipping though the pages. You are to generous! I cannot keep up with you!
MomKat thank you so much for the returned baggie boekie! I love all the additions and omens! Hope to blog it soon! I love everything you do! I made you something BLUE today!
Thank you very much for the Cookie Bookie, and above all for your returned 'Greek Dada & Dutch Lala' boekie, Katerina! You sure that it is for me? (I saw someone has sticked my name over yours :-) ) Love it!
Also thank you for the 'animals' mail art you've sent me previously - finally I blogged it on my real weird animals blog!
am I guessing right that a boekie is a bookette? am trying to book some fresh fish for you to fry (or release if they are getting too sparse in the Aegean
O My Stars! Thank you so much for the Heleeni-Kow! What terrific company you place me in. I just love looking at these cows and seeing all the names. Richard C sent me a cow today on which he put my name FIVE TIMES. But I cherish yours every bit as much. And wow, the Yoko Alteration is fabulous! I love how the edge of Alice's dress is the corner of the FLUXUX sticker, beneath the BLUE moon! So many levels to this piece. Thank you!
Also, talking fish, I notice in the freshly landed and off the hook mailing from Russell buZ blurt Butler had the fish by seamail envelope in the background of one shot, so, as I'd known, it had made it from you to Zoran Katarenovski in Neuvo Brunswick before continuing on to Arkansas (somehow missing Minnesota's 1,000 plus lakes........maybe meaning that the aliens have already arrived - Minnesota is an intergalactic landing strip, so the lakes (with their fish) have gone the way potholes go on landing strips.
Am curious: did Bird Man Everarts add or alter any points of alacrity that would get them fish off the ground and into the air? Anything? Like a fish wearing an airmail sticker?
MomKat and Keys.........I was looking through the markings on that set of keys in a photocopy from buZblurr, thought that they were maybe Zoran's keys and that he had locked himself out of the house - but was especially impressed when I noticed that one was marked 'VAULT'.....it is one thing to get locked out of the house and another thing to get locked out of your vault. Am curious to know what if anything BirdMan EverArts did with it in transition. Was hoping for something of aerial significance so the fish would get a temporary highflying overview of the plight of we earthbound. (Does BugPost still exist? I mean, in the case the fish go inland, they may need some earthy advice.) Now, how will I get this photo to Zoran Katarenoski - Facebook decided to recycle it to me to trick me into thinking they are my friend, when my friend actually is Ritva Saarikko, whom Zoran may recognise as his wife despite her obscuring speech bubble ("Quack" I interpret as her reply to Michael Morris' Marcels Dot and Ditto empty speech bubble done in the mid-1960's and to this day, half a century later, as the Problem of Nothing remains empty. (Question is, will this dot-heavy photo stay on the dot-wary IUoMA page?)
