Hey Ed. Yeah this social networking VIA the web is a lot better for a shy retard like myself.
Yes, we had some mighty straight line winds last night which is now night before last by only a few limbs in the yard. We always have to pay for warm nice days in February when dry plains cold hits the Gulf breezes and churns uo a vortex.
    Peace, Parolee Stickman

    Hello again,
Amy Downs is here in Centralia, WA. She lives just down the street from me. I have some art in a shop downtown right next to a plethera of her wonderful hats. Thats how I met her. Did you say "say hi to C.T. Chew in Seattle"? I don't know who that is or even if I am reading that right. Anyway, it's nice to meet you and maybe we can exchange some art. I'll be sending something. So Ed, how've you been all these years?
  • Steve Random

Don't know about Uncle Don, haven't heard from him in years. I moved out of Mass to Maine in 88, used to see Pittore and R. Saunders (he has your portrait of him hanging in his house) all the time. Then it was off to Boston area to get married again in 90. Moved to NC in late 07. Always busy arting around. SR
  • Stangroom

I think I was last in New York for "DADA Wee" 2006...
expected to see you but you were out of town...
I think that Buz Blurr was staying at your place.
It's been a while... glad you're still alive!
  • Stangroom

I never was much of a stamp maker...
though I did create some back in the day.
    More a copier artist...
but that has really slowed down as I lost access to copiers
where I could do as I liked and got back to painting.

These words you have said to me in another time and place...yup I do remember...Kenneth Patchen Taught Charles Buckowski how to Check for
Guns, that come through the Post Offices. Apparently, a .45 Mag

but anyway, Stacking Trout Streams got to him, & there you go.

    Dear friend Doo Da Higgins,
thank you for your kind words and your recollection of a time that passed quite a long time ago ...
One of your magnificent envelopes from 1985 is hanging in our floor reminding me of this time!
Yes, we are oldies now, but I think young ones! From our point of view. So we can inferfere here and there, even if sometimes it is not simple to get in the respective situation something like an overview ...
I too have some dreams what I would like, could do.
Computer work is hard labour for me.
In return I send you best wishes and good health too. Be successful in all your projects inclusive that concerning gardening!
    All the best from HeMi&Co

    LIMITE, SCAMBIO, SEGNO
    LIMIT, EXCHANGE, SIGN
A tribute for the city of Portogruaro through a project involving art through mail. The keywords chosen as the theme are the motif of its foundation, joined in a common flow.

    Limit
    border between earth and water,
the river harbor and the trade routes,
the channels and the gardens of the palaces,
a constant reference to a change in system, material and colour.

    Exchange
not only of goods but also of colours and scents,
    artistic and architectural influences,
    mutual knowledge, therefore culture.

    Sign
a condition of consent expressed in gesture, the conclusion of an agreement,
a trace superimposed on many others:
whose meaning is beyond the sum of the parts.

Hi there Ed! Here's a little something going on Monday night (Oct 3rd) in NYC, mail art-wise. Would be great to have a couple beers (do they even serve beer at Katz's?) and talk mail art...

    Mail Art Mayhem at Katz's DeliMonday, October 3 · 7:00pm - 10:00pm

Katz's Deli, 205 East Houston Street, NYC 10002

mail/book artists Red Fox Press (Ireland) and Red Letter Day (San Francisco) find themselves on the east coast for the NY Art Book Fair. In keeping with the time honored tradition of mail art tourism and Networking, it is proposed that a gathering of like-minded folks gather at Katz's Deli for some good old fashioned mail art mayhem.
In the spirit of Networking, all are welcome! Hope to see you there...

    --JH, Red Letter Day
