Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
Why? I'm currently writing a 10,000 word dissertation in an attempt to answer that one. It would be lovely if the answer was straightforward and small enough to fit inside a box as small as this.

    Hi Ed,

Welcome to the IUOMA. Finding out what mail-art is is a difficult task. Lucky for you there are written lots of books on the subject. But it seems there are more then one views on the matter. Would be fun to read your eventual result....!

  • Ruud Janssen

    wonderful photos you published!

  • Valentine Mark Herman

Thanks Ed! For 'Machine' in the earlier message, read, of course', Machin. Good luck with the circles. Regards and Bon Weekend, Val

PS I've just posted some definitely un-Machin 'Silly Stamps' that you might want to look at in the 'Photos' section

For a circular work, try a beer mat. If it doesn't work out, well the trip to the pub was worth it! Val

Ed: by the time your dissertation gets to a final end, I propose you to go straight ahead: to practice the would be final answer. I would like to be the other end if you decide it´s the right time for you to start trading mail art.  If that’s the case your envelope should read as follows:

    The Celestial Scribe
    Caixa Postal, 24827
    Curitiba-PR
    80510-970
    Brazil

II look forward to see your piece in my mailbox.  Yes!, I will do my homework after receiving yours.  That’s a celestial promise.  I’m Patricio, The Celestial Scribe and Envelope Provider.

So good, so good. Mad about this work.

  • Sarah Churchill

We should definitely trade mail art. I think your work is amazing. What are you studying?
  • Sarah Churchill

I might just do that! We're always on the lookout for graduates to use as freelancers, and I love going to degree shows. I'll be at the Cardiff Beer Festival that day, so we may drop in afterwards (probably a little tipsy, I'd imagine). Would we need invites or anything for the opening night?

  • Sarah Churchill

If you could add my work email s.churchill(at)jammycustard.co.uk that'd be awesome. I'll have to try and put my 'Creative Director' head on and be all professional-like ;D l
    Looking forward to it
