Informal Art Exchange

No calls, no deadlines, no themes, just a place to share your art in an informal way. By joining this group you indicate you are willing to exchange art by mail with the other members. The only expectation is to use common courtesy. Let's have fun!

I received this fun cute frog from Alana Schlotter. I took it's picture with a yellow background so it may not appear that this is a cut-out piece with the eyes popping out to compliment the friendly smile. Thank you Alana! :)

Here is a lovely found poem creation from Chris Wells. It reads:
    from place to place
    Little by little,
    flow
    My little
    muddy
    creek.

  • Alana Schlotter

Yes Dee it was quick, I was surprised as well.... Grace, I'm glad that the frog got to you all safe and sound...

  • Corazon

Got a fun card from Alana Schlotter today. Thanks!
  • chris wells

Thanks for sharing my piece here, Grace! I'm glad I found this group. I'm trying to create at least one small-scale art piece a week to give away (e.g., a poem, a visual/erasure poem, a collage, a unique chapbook/booklet, or some hybrid or small collection). I would just like to send them to people who are interested and who wouldn't mind reciprocating now and then. If you *are* interested, please let me know, either publicly here or friend/msg me (if we're not already friends here), and I'll put you on my list!

  • Karen L. Green

Hello! I am ready to get started! I am an avid knitter who likes to stretch my creative boundaries. I love to write letters and I have about 10 international penpals. I have found that decorating the envelopes of my letters is a great way for me to practice a small scale art project and make happy mail that much more happier. I particularly love zentangles and calligraphy. I follow The Postman's Knock and I use a lot of her ideas while I practice my faux calligraphy. My dip pen calligraphy needs some more practice. I also follow Art Impressions Watercolor Wednesdays. Hope to hear from you.
