Some mail artists use more envelopes for one work of art. I never had received such a serie before, and had never thought about it so far. But now that I'm the lucky receiver of such connected envelopes - thank you very much, Eva! - I really think it an awesome idea!
There was one week between receiving the first and second one, and what fascinated me even more, is that there is ca. 900 kms between the location from where the first and from where the second envelope have been sent! And despite of the distance between the two of them, in both time and place, by their reunion in my mailbox the (at first sight pretty weird) message becomes unveiled:
To be continued, looking forward to knowing what people we should beware of :-)

I received a fun piece of mail art from Katerina Nikoltsou a few days ago, a card tucked inside a handmade envelope. Those of you who participate in the Brain Cell mail art project might recognize what she used to make this envelope: a copy of the sheet that Ryosuke Cohen includes with the artwork that contains the participating artists' names and addresses.
Fold the sheet just so, add a bit of color, a postage stamp, and some tape, and there you go!
Bonsoir, Good evening, except if your shipment is found in the rain water will remain intact. But if you are worried then a bit of matte varnish spray and everything is protected. good work and lots of fun in mail art. Jean Claude
